This is a Levi's 501 that was produced during a brief period between 1966 and 1968. The back pocket tag is missing, but there is no doubt that it's an authentic Big E model from the 1966-1968 production era. While vintage 501s are often associated with the famous selvedge models produced until the mid-1980s, this particular pair is even older, adding to its historical significance.

What truly sets this pair apart is its exceptional embroidery design.
Back in the day, it was common for hippies to customize their denim, but this particular pair stands out as a remarkably well-crafted design.
From the overall balance to the diverse embroidery and crafting techniques used, and even the inclusion of the artist's name in the embroidery, it reflects the deliberate artistry and intention of the creator.

Though the back pocket may be missing, the jeans still exude a sense of vintage charm and character.
The quality of craftsmanship is evident in every detail, and the fabric remains durable despite signs of wear and repair.
It's a testament to the enduring appeal of Levi's 501 and its status as a cherished vintage piece.
