This animal ottoman was created by the British department store Liberty in the 1950s.
Though Ormesa's animal ottomans are better known today, their origins trace back to Liberty, where they were first introduced.
Slightly larger than the animal ottomans later produced by Ormesa, this piece stands as an early example, made in-house by Liberty during that time.
