A circa 1950s souvenir jacket with Mt. Fuji embroidered boldly against a black body.

Originally ordered by a soldier stationed in Japan, likely made as a personal piece to take home.

It’s been well worn, but the sleeve ribs have been repaired and it remains fully wearable. The black rayon has aged beautifully—deep, faded, and full of character.

The overall atmosphere is just right. Quietly powerful.
